I have been taking Orencia for months now. I get infusions once a month at my rheumatologists office. I have had absolutely no side effects. It has helped my pain tremendously. Don't be afraid. Embrace the fact that you will feel better in no time. Best of luck.

I am currently taking Orencia by infusion. Can't tell yet if it's helping. I've had 2 loading infusions and 2 full infusions. Dr said it sometimes takes 6 months before you can tell if it helps. This is my 5th or 6th different biologics. The others didn't seem to help. Good luck.

I had no side effects other than headache. They gave me something for my headache before they started infusion. Sadly, orencia didn't work for me. Hopefully it'll work for you, best of luck... dont be scared...itll all be ok... hugs

Orencia is a great drug and I had very few adverse side affects. I was on it for a long time but eventually the biologics seem to stop working on me and I have to try another one. One suggestion, make sure you drink plenty of fluids and eat something before you go to the infusion appointment. You'll do a lot better that way.

Yes I'm on Orencia infusions make sure there's nothing you need to do that day. You might feel a little week and tiered right after. Make sure you have a ride to and from the clinic. If you can drive go straight home don't stop to get groceries or shop go home and lay down take a nap you will feel tired the rest of the day don't go any where no house cleaning rest watch a show or a movie this is care time for you. I hope it goes well for you. I have been on Orencia for about a year and I have learned the hard way not to plan anything the day I get my infusion. I sleep most of the day your body needs to rest.
