What Benefit Have Others Had With The Spice Tumeric?

When I eat spiced items from a particular Chinese place, I tend to get more vegetables and a particular spice mix, so it's the best of both worlds. I've always done my best to not constantly eat spicy dishes as eating too much gives me heartburn.

Turmeric, particularly its active compound curcumin, has been noted for its potential benefits in managing arthritis symptoms. Here are some key points:

- Anti-inflammatory and Antioxidant Properties: Turmeric is known for these properties, which can help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.
- Symptom Improvement: In a pilot study, people with rheumatoid arthritis who took curcumin reported significant improvement in symptoms without negative gastrointestinal side effects.
- Supplementation: Turmeric supplements, especially those standardized to 95% curcuminoids and combined with piperine (black pepper extract), are more effective due to better absorption.

However, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider before adding turmeric or any supplement to your regimen, especially if you have conditions like gallstone disease or are on prescription medications.

I love spicy dishes but not super spicy. I like to use Calabria pepper in some pasta dishes. And I noticed zero difference with tumeric when I cook something with that. Even with "golden milk tea". Nothing
