I'm in a flare that has given me such pain 😢 that I can't shack. OMG I have not had one in month's this 😳 bad. I know it had to be the physical therapy I did on Friday. It really wasn't that hard we took our time and I could rest. It's suppose to be 45 minutes long all I could do is 20 minutes. Now I'm going to have to go to the ER again dam I was already there twice last week. But to get pain 😢 relief is to go to the ER. I wish no one is in sever pain 😞 prayers go out to everyone

I've had physical therapy for a number of years on and off . It definitely helps so stick with it unless you feel your body is not responding. Also physical therapists have different approaches and some may not resignate with you.

I have flared after i have overdone it with physical activity more than once. where the "too much" line is changes regularly, and i usually find it after i've crossed it. then i have to rest, but yes, the pain can be unbearable. i have found some pain releasing and accepting meditations on youtube which have helped me enormously. hugs.

My son is a PT and he always tells me that pain is a guide. If it is really bad don’t do it! I’m so glad he helps me because I don’t think I would be able to function with the level of degenerative disc disease I have in my neck and back.

We deal with a brutal and unpredictable condition where you be fine one minute and in terrible pain the next. I think you would have flared regardless.

Hope you feel better soon.

Physical therapy can sometimes cause initial discomfort, but it should not lead to a severe flare-up. Here are some key points to consider:

- Initial Discomfort: It's normal for joints to ache a bit when you start moving them, but this should improve with continued movement as it helps lubricate the joints

Physical therapy can sometimes cause initial discomfort, but it should not lead to a severe flare-up. Here are some key points to consider:

- Initial Discomfort: It's normal for joints to ache a bit when you start moving them, but this should improve with continued movement as it helps lubricate the joints.
- Consult Your Doctor: Always check with your doctor or physical therapist if the pain is severe or if you suspect a flare-up.
- Balance: Finding a balance between rest and gentle exercise is crucial. Short, gentle exercises spread throughout the day can help keep joints moving without overexerting them.

If you experience significant pain or a flare-up, it's important to communicate with your healthcare provider to adjust your treatment plan.
