Yes almost constantly, the only relief I get is when I lay flat for at least half an hour, sometimes back exercises work to relieve pressure to my pinched nerves too

Yes MikeandPat, you are right, I do use a couple of topicals I use occasionally 1 is a mix of camphor, capsaicin and gabapentin and the other is something called Blue Ice from Dollarama. They help a little sometimes, I don't know why I didn't think of them. Have a great day🙂

I do have this. There is a medication that helps me. Gabapentin. Won't hurt anything to just look into it. It has been a saving grace for me. My spine guy says that as long as it is working, there is no reason to pursue surgery. Good luck!

Before taking more medicine for siatica, I purchased a vinyl-covered wedge to place under my knees when I lie down. Ten minutes later no pain. BUT the pain relief is short-lived.

The doctors say surgery is not an option for me - too many other serious ailments. At 76 years I still look for alternatives. I tried the injections, they did not work for me.

Now the pain clinic has me on Norco (10 mg/4 times/day) and Lyrica, (100mg twice a day). These seem to be helping. The doc told me Lyrica specifically targets siatica nerve pain.

In addition to RA, I have spinal stenosis (and everything else related to the spine that starts with "s") LOL. Without these two meds I'm in constant pain.

I realize Norco can be addictive, however I choose quality of life, I am sure I only take the Norco as directed.

I hope my experience helps you, Mandy. I pray you find the treatment that is right for you. Hugs and prayers!
