I would definitely ask your doctor if you are having a side effect from one of the medications you are taking. I had unbearable itching from methotrexate.

It sounds like you're experiencing some concerning symptoms. In the context of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), bruising and skin issues can be relatively common. Here are a few points to consider:

1. Bruising: RA can lead to easy bruising, especially if you are on medications like steroids or methotrexate which can thin the skin and affect blood vessels.

2. Itchy Skin and Rashes: While not a classic symptom of RA, skin problems can occur, particularly if you have sensitivities or allergies, which are more common in individuals with autoimmune disorders.

3. Medication Side Effects: Check if the symptoms started after a new medication or a change in dosage. Some medications used to treat RA can cause skin issues as side effects.

4. When to See a Doctor: It's important to consult with your healthcare provider if:
- The bruising or rashes are spreading or worsening.
- You experience additional symptoms like fever or joint pain.
- The skin changes do not improve with general care.

Your doctor might suggest some tests or adjustments in your treatment plan based on these symptoms. It's always good to keep track of any new symptoms and discuss them with your healthcare provider to manage your RA effectively.
