This isn’t directly RA related but I tore my distal bicep tendon taking care of my mom in 2021. I got a PRP injection in it because the MRI didn’t really show the severity of the tear and the doc didn’t want to do surgery. That PRP was probably the most painful procedure I have ever experienced and it really didn’t help my torn tendon at all. I needed up having surgery anyway two months later and spent 1 1/2 years in PT.
