Hello Pattie, yes I can say that Enbrel works for me. I started taking it in 2018 after Methotrexate didn’t work for me. It helped but didn’t get my inflammation down to normal. But after about 3 months on Enbrel. I haven’t had any flares and my CRPs have been normal. I have been pain free since the end of 2018. Now, it does come with side effects. For me it was frequent upper respiratory infections. But after Covid hit in March of 2020, I haven’t been sick since December 2019. I am a nurse and it was mandatory to wear a mask at all times in the hospital. So, for the ones who say masks do not work, I can tell you… they do work. I am living proof. We don’t need to wear masks now, it is optional but I am vigilant in keeping my distance and washing my hands. So…. In short, Enbrel has worked for me. Just over 5 years.

I was on Enbrel for 15 years and it helped me for a long period and my quality of life was good then.

Never on embrel but was on Humira weekly for about 5 months without any relief. Hope Embrel works for you. I know someone that was successfully on it for 10 years but when she hit menopause it stopped working.
