Which Is Better: Meloxicam Or Diclofenac Potassium?

A myRAteam Member asked a question 💭

I just got switched from meloxicam (I’d give it a 6/10) to diclofenac potassium (oral) and wondering if it will actually work better or worse.

So I’ve been taking diclofenac potassium instead of the meloxicam I took for months. I take three pills a day totaling 150 mg. That’s max dose. It’s working better than the meloxicam – and better. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have been on Diclafenac for 2 years and it works great for me, it was the first medication given to me before RA diagnosis and was the only medication that gave me some relief! I still take it twice a day with no problem 👍 I suppose it’s different for different people 🤷‍♀️ give it a go xx

Glad to hear! It’s been working for me better than the meloxicam (and all the other NSAIDs but I tried, and didn’t work at all). And I’m in the middle of a really bad flare.
