Muscle Attachment Inflammation And RA
I have inflamed satorius tendon in my knee. Not bad osteoarthritis or RA shows in the x-ray but man, my knee hurts. Do others have tendon attachment issues too?

You can wrap it with an ace bandage or get one of those slip on ones from Walmart or Amazon. Ice or heat. Try not to do repetitive movements for a bit. I know volteran cream is an nsaid but the doc said unless your using a ton all the time it doesn't hurt you. If that won't work, Hempvana is excellent.
Esther, on the knee they gave me antiinflammatories. This last time I told them I was trying to stay away from NSAD's. He gave me Meloxicam. But they usually like you in a brace or a wrap to rest that tendon. But if NSAIDS are okay to take with your other meds it should be okay. I'd give the doc a call just to make sure.
Have enthesitis and tendinitis of Achilles tendons on both sides. It’s been 6 weeks and has not resolved yet. I’ve been getting P wave therapy. I’m icing it at least at night before going to bed. Starting physical therapy on 12/12/24.
Diclofenac topical gel/ cream helps and lidocaine - both are over the counter. Very painful condition.
