Thank you all for your replies,I'm currently laid awake so thought I'd have a look through, although I wish there was.an app for this otnwould be so much easier to get onto, anyway just had to take painkillers, there doesn't seem to be any gels or creams that even ease my pain,I've been tempted to.try some thc cream/gel or even hemp, has anyone tried either? I have been offered the steroid shots which I'm unsure if tonyave them as I've been on an extremely long corse.of oral steroids for a different problem bit.surely they should have made.some difference to my knees it's been like a 4 month corse,I personally dont think yeses anything that can take away bone rubbing on bone.every time my knees move,I can't have knee replacements because here.in the uk I'm to young,I'm 45 and know withbthese.knee replacements it would give me.a.better quality of life and I'd even be able to go back to work which would be amazing, but nope not here.in the good old uk.so thanks again for all your input I really àppreciate it xx have a good day guys x

I don't like steroids either, but it is a little different with an injection rather than oral. It really eases the inflammation and pain. I still get side effects, but not as long or intense. Like I said, gel shots help me a lot. It's not steroids. It's lubricant to help with movement. I don't get any side effects and I can walk better without a cane. Maybe it's worth a try?

Knee replacement for me. I already had a reverse shoulder replacement & I'm happy I did. The only thing that touches my knee pain is Bayer back & body aspirin.
