I Have Arm And Hand Tremours, Does Anyone Have A Suggestion For Me?
I I have arm and hand tremours, does anyone have a suggestion for me? My hands shake so bad that I can't eat soup with a spoon. I can't even write out my Christmas cards, my grocery lists look like a 2 year old's writing. Has anyone else experienced this?
Hi Lisabug. I finally got off of Methotrexate about 6 months ago after using it for 5 years. I can honestly say I feel no better or no worse after stopping it. So for me, it was just one more med I didn’t need to be taking! ❤️
I too have tremors, I stayed away from any easy spill foods and had to use both hands in order to even sign my name on anything. I was so difficult and stressful. When I spoke with my GP he sent me to a neurologist and he diagnosed me with age related essential tremors. I am on medication for it, just 1/2 a pill at night and it has done wonders. The shakes do return if I am upset or if I am in a stressful situation but other than that I am back to normal. And I do have the option of increases my pill to a full one.
My family Dr sent me to a Neurologist and he put me on some medication. I have essential tremours. Apparently it is a common side issue of Rheumatoid Arthritis. But can also just be age related. Ask you Dr to send you to a Neurologist.
I have tremors too and this is a new thing for me. Have talked to my doctor and he dosent think it’s Parkinson’s. We r watching it. I have trouble with drinking my coffee in the morning.
My husband has had essential tremor for years. He sees his neurologist once a year to keep getting his prescriptions. He takes Primidone and Topiramate. I let him help in the kitchen, but sure makes me nervous!
