Rheumatoid Arthritis And Natural Remedies
Hello. My question is; did any of you tried any natural stuff like herbs or other things that helped with RA. My symptoms are mostly severe fatigue and some pain in lower back. I'm on Methotrexate 2 .5 MD. 6 pills once a week. I so would love to try a Naturopath but it is not covers by my insurance. I'm from Germany and there are so many natural things you can buy. Just was curious if anything natural helped others. Greetings from at this moment sunny Washington state.:)
Turmeric supplements, clean eating is key!!! Look into Autoimmune Paleo AIP and modify to fit you. Stress and food is biggest triggers for me.
Yes, yes, yes! Diet: avoiding foods that trigger RA--for me starting out it was wheat, dairy, sugarcane, corn, soy, anything artificial, msg--the closer it is to the way God made it, the better it is for you. I posted a link for elimination diet recently--helps you figure out what your triggers are.
Supplements: joint combo (glucosamine, chondroitin, msm, hyalauronic acid, bromelain, magnesium, vit. c), good multi, flax seed oil (or fish oil which I can't do), DE (diatomaceous earth--start low and slow--high in silica, good detoxer), Bone broth or bone broth protein (supports joints and skin health)
Milk thistle for liver support
elderberry and colloidal silver to combat viruses
probiotics and prebiotics for gut health
essential oils for different things (I posted a link on that today).
Ultima Replenisher--natural electrolyte powder without artificial junk or sugar
Tumeric has helped some -- I have trouble with it and can only do small amounts combined with other herbs
Music!!!!!!!!!!
exercise- whatever you can handle--water exercise is awesome!
The best thing I have found is cbd oil. It works on pain, depression, anxiety and stomach problems. Only problem is that doctors don't want you taking it but it does work. I also use honey, apple cider vinegar, tumeric, ginger and hot pepper.
Thank you Jean. My cousin in Germany recommended cooloidal silver. But when I did a bit of research from Mayo Clinic and they said it really wasn't save to take. Sometimes it's confusing to know what is safe and what not:( I love tumeric. I use it almost every day. Thank you so much for the input. ;) Stress is a big one for me. I got very sick when I lost my youngest sister.
