I use Salon Pas when I need them for the odd spot that flares up. They work extremely well for me.

I have used salonpas which basically have lidocaine. I have also used diclofenac topical. In my opinion the lidocaine works better. I like the clinical strength lidocaine patches better than the over-the-counter salonpas.
