Do Any Of You Have Celiac Disease? If So What's Your Symptoms And What Doc Diagnosed You?
Pretty bad intestinal issues off and on. It takes everything out of me. And sometimes I don't have much. My daughter asked if I'd ever been tested for Celiac, because it sounds like the symptoms her ex boyfriend had with Celiac.
Hi Carol. It's sometimes just one more thing 😜 I recently had an endoscopy and have suffered with GERD for years. My Dr. said I have autoimmune eocyniphil esophagitis. He told me to eat s Celiac diet. I have totally left gluten out of my diet and am beginning to notice a difference. My daughter is the one who kept encouraging me to do this. Good 🤞 luck
I don't take Immodium all that often. I'm fortunate, in general, one or two solves any IBS-D issue that hits. The problem used to be much worse. Às I said, if my biologic for RA is working well, the IBS settles too. Not gone, but not as unpredictable.
I too have been known to pop an Immodium before traveling. With the amount of travel we used to do, IBS was really inconvenient. And Immodium was not always around. For me, it was a game changer.
I have IBS-D. I would suggest seeing a GI too.
Janet, the last 2 times the Imodium hasn't worked. That's what I've always used too. The gastro said I could use it up to 4 tablets a day. But 2 makes my gut ache. I still do it but it's just not working. I've kind of always had this since I had my gallbladder out at 18. The older I get the the worse it gets.
JanetR, if we drive in a very long trip I sometimes take Imodium before we leave. Once you leave here it's a ways in between places to stop. Desert one way and mountains the other. I could never do that liquid you take with all the meds I'm on all day. I understand what your saying.
Thank you Janet. I have purchased some and Kaopectate as well.
I'm Having A Good Day. Thank You!
