If you have disc degenerative disease and osteoarthritis in the back are you more likely to get osteoporosis?

Well I saw my rheumatologist (Dr. Bangert) today, my hand/wrist & feet/ankle ultrasound are not showing signs of inflammation in the joints but my bloodwork is showing high inflammation markers in the blood still.
