I have had RA for 30+ years now,
meds change, your body changes, lifestyle and environmental affect change too so it’s a very personal journey and don’t be afraid to say you feel unwell, you haven’t noticed any difference etc, make sure you give yourself a voice and ask whatever comes to
mind, no matter how trivial you think it might be! Hope you are ok!

Choosing the best medication for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) can be challenging and varies from person to person. Here are some key points to consider:

- Trial and Error: Finding the right medication often involves a trial-and-error approach. What works for one person may not work for another.
- Consult Your Rheumatologist: It's crucial to discuss all your pain treatment options with your rheumatologist. They can help guide you based on your symptoms, underlying health, and any comorbid conditions.
- Treatment Options: Options include NSAIDs, glucocorticoids, DMARDs, and biologics. Sometimes, adjusting the dosage or changing the route of administration can be effective.
- Monitoring and Side Effects: Regular monitoring and understanding potential side effects are essential. Always weigh the benefits against the risks.

If your current medications aren't effective, it might be time to consider a change. Always make these decisions in consultation with your healthcare provider.
