Certainly! Here are some experiences and details about Inflectra infusions for rheumatoid arthritis:

- Administration: Inflectra is administered as an intravenous infusion in a medical setting every eight weeks after initial loading doses. It is available in vial form.

- Patient Experiences:
- One myRAteam member shared, “I am so thankful the infusions are giving me my life back.”
- Another member mentioned, “I was resistant and scared of infusions at first, but was in enough misery to give it a try after going through so many drugs that worked, then stopped or had negative side effects.”

- Infusion Process:
- Infusions can take as little as 15 minutes or several hours, depending on the dosage.
- The procedure is relatively painless, usually experienced only as a pinprick when the needle is inserted into a vein.
- Some patients feel great after the first infusion, while others may take up to a couple of months to notice improvements.

- Side Effects:
- Common side effects include respiratory tract infections, infusion-related reactions, headache, and abdominal pain.
- Rare but serious side effects can include severe infections, increased risk for lymphoma and other cancers, hepatitis B virus reactivation, liver damage leading to liver failure, heart failure, low blood cell counts, lupus-like syndrome, and nerve damage.

- Precautions:
- One patient experienced itching and increased blood pressure during her first infusion and was given Benadryl. Now, she receives Benadryl before each infusion and is fine.
