If it's a cortisone shot in the joint itself are not good, they erode your joint. If it's going in the muscle, I only got them once in a while they didn't do much for me.

I was getting cortisone shots for my back and we would only do so many per month then rest it out. We did a specific cortisone shot so I could start following forward with a particular stretch exercise unfortunately a bad reaction then followed so all steroids have been stopped for good.
