Anyone Else Have To Have Neck Or Back Surgery And/or Hip Replacements Due Mostly To RA Damage?

Hi Melody. I have degenerative disc disease neck and lumbar regions. They say I need surgery and fusion of 4 discs right away. Very painful. I’m getting a second opinion as soon as I can make an appointment.

Don’t rush into it. The surgeon wanted to rush to another appointment and left me with do not fall because with your situation you could severely damage your spinal cord. I can’t do a surgery like this except in the summer because you can’t drive for weeks and he wants me to wear a cervical collar for 3 months. Not conducive to teaching.
