I almost feel flu like, I get a cough and am not all that motivated. My husband thinks I need urgent care but I can't help but to think this could be a flare and that I've started on rinvoc and my body is adjusting.

Yes, heat can indeed make people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) feel more tired and sick. Here are some points from the context:

- Swelling and Pain Increases: Heat can cause joints to swell more, leading to increased pain, especially in the hands, feet, and ankles.
- Increase in Fatigue: The heat and humidity can intensify RA symptoms, making fatigue worse. Hot days can drain energy and make it harder to sleep well.
- Feeling Sick: Some people experience nausea, digestive issues, and migraines due to the heat.

To manage these symptoms, consider:
- Staying Cool: Use fans, air conditioning, or cooling products like neck fans and cooling patches.
- Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Rest: Build in extra rest time and avoid overexertion.

If symptoms persist, consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice.

NJ's heat and humidity has been oppressive. its a viscous circle of exercise Finally - Im feeling good as long as I can walk at least a mile briskly but that stops thanks to the heat- I'm finding it hard to stop whining. I hate myself for being such a stick in the mud. sorry- its too damned hot for me!

The heat always make me extremely tired. Hands always flare, then knees ache and ankles swell.
