Does Anyone Have Suggestions For Managing RA While On Crutches?

I tripped and hurt my hip the other day. I have tendonitis of the main tendon that connects the hip flexor to the quad muscle and a possible tear (waiting on an MRI). The crutches are really hurting my hands, shoulders and ankle. Any suggestions are so helpful!

There are crutches that work with your arms rather than hands. Perhaps look at those or an electric wheelchair, then you're independent

I have used forearm crutches for many years now because the under arm crutches flared up my shoulders and neck so badly. However, since the RA is in my hands and wrist also, I put my palms on the end of the hand grips and the weigh of my body on my forearms. It helps with the flares & pain in my hands and wrist.
