After 18+ Years With RA And Having A Rheumatologist For That Long, My PCP Has Decided That I Don't Need One Now. Can He Do That???
You need your rheumatologist as there are medications that a PCP cannot write. Your PCP does not specialize in RA. I would think about getting a new PCP. In my 57 year with RA I haver never heard of that.
Hi jewels , I’ve never heard of that happening to anyone I know. I believe they each have theirs own roles. Check with your insurance company to see if you have to have a “referral “ from your pcp to be able to keep seeing your ra doctor. Hope you have a restful night 🤗
