Thanks Regina! I’d looked up Meloxicam and bingo… “ Bad or unusual unpleasant aftertaste!” I’d looked at the side effects before, but obviously didn’t remember that one. I’m realizing how different people are effected by the same drug.🙂

I only take Meloxicam now if I am in severe pain because I took it for 7 months, regularly, when first diagnosed and my liver enzymes quadrupled! I don't want liver damage, too! While taking it daily I do not recall any unusual sense of taste though.

Yes, I was on meloxicam too, and it does mess with your taste. At least it did for me and it really didn’t help with my RA symptoms. My rheumatologist took me off of it.
