Things Are Rough Going. I Start Inflectra Infusions This Coming Monday. Anyone Else Get These Infusions?
Nervous but hopefully will get some much needed relief.
I've been on this for about 3 years. Worked well, no issues, not anymore. I need a change.
Hello Debbie565 hope you are well. Inflectra is a biosimlar to Remicade. I did well with orginal Remicade for 7 years until the Dr stop doing the treatment in his office/then had to go to a infusion center then they give me biosimlar Infliximab/Inflectra it did not work at all. My inflammation was not under control/severe stomach pain constipation due to this biosimlar. But it may work for you/good for 1 or bad for another π€. Just know if this start happening it could be this medication π tell you Dr immediately for him to change the medication. But I don't feel any scary incident during the infusion treatment that went will it was after when at home.
Thank you
It's understandable to feel apprehensive about starting a new treatment. While I can't share personal experiences, Inflectra is indeed used by others for managing rheumatoid arthritis. It's administered as an intravenous infusion every eight weeks after the initial doses. If you're looking for support or to hear from others Show Full Answer
