Humira And Hair Problems
I started using Humira in February this year after Simponi stopped working for me. I have carried on taking the methotrexate along with this.
So, I have noticed a fair bit of hair loss over the past few weeks. My pony tail feels thinner, my bathroom floor needs to be cleaned twice as often due to loose hair falling when I brush.

Diane712, thank you for your suggestion, I will certainly give the vitamin D and calcium a try, I can’t afford to lose any more teeth
Do you take vitamin D with calcium/that will help for your hair,teeth 😬 I lost my teeth eating a hot dog 🌭 I added the vitamin D with calcium and it stop even the hair from falling. I hope you found the best solution for you. Best of luck!
What were your symptoms when the simponi wasn't working anymore?
I have been taking simponi infusions for 2 yrs now.
Passes few months I am noticing extra fatigue...and had an incident where my wrist was stiff and swollen. I had not had that for a long time.
Its hard when a med quits working.

can you get on a different medication ?? I refused taking methotrexate.
I heard hair loss is very common taking it.
I too have noticed a greater amount of hair loss. I also have tingling on my head...that is irritating. It comes and goes. I'm on methotrexate injections.
