Cathy, the study is only about dental implants, not rejection of knee replacement. I wouldn't want to assume replacement if something in your mouth would be the same. I would look up knee replacement for RA specifically. I'm sorry to hear you had all that pain.

I had an implant which eventually had to be removed as I had a month of non stop pain.
I need another and discussed it with an maxilla facial surgeon. He said it possibly was due to the RA medication I was taking and if I decided to go ahead with another I would need to come off Humira for a fortnight or so. Just his opinion.

I was not able to get implants, the test they ran before showed my bones weren’t strong enough to hold the fixtures. My Dr however said he had done implants for people with RA before.
