Ask to Try RINVOQ I have been on 13 biologics now and wish they started backwards. It’s a pill once a day and has been working great for me. It seems the RA doctors go through the same gamit of meds. Orencia did absolutely nothing for me it’s an injection and methotrexate I was on the pill then switched me over to a needle form of that and that just made my hair fall out and to be honest feel worse as methotrexate is a form of chemo.

I did have remission for 5 wonderful years on ENBREL and then just like you said these meds stop working as the T cells in our body decides to say hey I know this medication and I’m not going to work for you anymore.

It’s a long tedious process on all these biologics as they want you to be on something for 3 months before stopping it and trying it again. So me being on 13 of them you can guess how many years. But RINVOQ in like 3 days I felt like a new person.

Wish you well and I hope you can find one that works but I say ask your RA to start backwards with the med list 😊 and remember most of all the medications has a copay assistance program to get on so your cost should be zero or $5.00 it’s just a process you go through.

I've been on Orencia for 4+ years. No adverse reaction at all. I feel as though I've been in remission. MOst of this time. I realize everyone is different...good luck and keep us posted.

Is Rinvoq working well for you still? I too have been on several meds incl. biologics (now Orencia) but I think it quit working after a year I think, Dr. wants me to stay on it...getting more flares and new trigger fingers but....would like to try something else, seems nothing is 100% Oh well, have a good night😊

I’m on Rinvoq. I love it!!! This is my 6th med try. I take a medication for about 3-5 years, then I plateau and it’s not as effective.

Yes I have been on Orenica it was working very well for me a little experiencive , started with infusion, tried of being stuck more once, asked Dr for injection I was giving my self shots, now my Medicare want me to try Kevzara another biologic pen still waiting for approval
