I take a multivitamin, magnesium, B-complex, D3, a joint health supplement and zinc. I had great success with the joint supplement. After a week my pain was reduced and my joints moved more freely. I couldn't believe it, so I stopped taking it for a week and I was back where I started from. I found out that it wasn't a fluke and I always take it now. The biggest change to my RA though has been changing the way I eat. It's a modified version of the Keto diet with 20 or less carbs a day. So no processed food or sugar or starches. I think it's closer to the Carnivore Diet, which I will eventually be on for life. My husband and I (he has chronic back pain and a skin disease) started the Keto on Labor Day, so we're on our fourth week. In the second week my joints were hurting less, my brain fog went away and I could get around better and so could my husband. We've been improving more each week. Added bonus -we're also losing weight! Anyway, that's what I'm doing.πŸ™‚

Yes, the power of faith and spirituality are a big factor in our lives with Rheumatoid Artharitis and painπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
I pray all the time even more when I'm in excruciating pain and it feels like it's not going to stop.

You can never go wrong with healthy eating/ lifestyle. I’m 18 years in and blessed with being able to work full time. I also have a little energy to pursue some fun things such as nature walks, sewing, crocheting, home cooking. My husband is very helpful and supportive and my faith community as well.

I am so happy I am doing well after months of no sugar, grains and dairy. I can make a decent fist again, hand pain is very little. I am now working on positive affirmations which I think is helping on a different level. I keep saying positive things to myself about self and life. It keeps me in a nice place instead of worrying what bad thing will happen next. I'm sure you all know Louise Hay for her positive affirmations. It helped me 20 yrs ago when I was dealing with Erhlichiosis. I have to remember to keep doing it especially on bad days. It helps so much. Even when things are not going well remembering those feelings of when they were brings those neuro pathways back.
