RA is on the list for SS disability. You have to fill out the paperwork to see if you qualify. It takes at least 5 months (not working) to get benefits if you are approved. The first check is retro active from the date you filed. You also don't get medical insurance right away. I think its 24 months if you are still on disability. Good luck.

I have RA throughout my body but hands wrist fingers are the worse. Been on so many medications I lost count.
The thing that helped me before getting on medical marijuana program was a company called CBDistillery.com they ship right to your home and all I can say is the higher CBD the better. It kept me off all the pain medications thank goodness as we know you take medications and each one has their side effects that I found to be so stressful. Try them as I think you will be pleasantly surprised I used tincture oils under the tongue and it was my saving Grace.

Go on a psych I'm bipolar they would not consider my arthritis or heart disease or my cancer so my psychiatrist filled out the request and I was approved ,8 years of trying one psych and my struggle was over ...psych is instant because your born with it they have to approve it and it is always there there is no cure and mental illness is tricky they don't pick it apart like they do a. Medical issue such as arthritis..
