I'm working with a trainer on-line who knows about RA and pain. She has an amazing understanding of the body and how it works. She has me ice certain joints after exercising, depending on which exercise I did. It helps a lot. I also modify my routine as I go along. I've gotten to know when not to push it. Slow and easy.

I try to go to the gym 3 times per week. Join classes with low impact and protect your joints. I’ve learned to use it or lose it! If you have pain that lasts after working out, modify your routine. It’s not a race. Have fun!
