Is Anyone Else On Here A Part Or Full Time Wheelchair User Solely Due To Their RA?
I used to have to use a wheelchair but, don't need one anymore since i've been on biologics.
@A myRAteam Member. I need a wheelchair for long walks through Hospital halls, etc. You’re never the only one with RA💐
3 years ago, my RA was so severe that my feet would swell and I was unable to stand. Horrible pain that wouldn't subside for about 40 hours. The swelling would go down but would attack another part of my body. So I did have to be in a wheelchair, but with lots of changes in my medication, with time I was able to put the wheelchair away. Don't give up, its very hard, listen to your RA doctor and hopefully with time you will get better.
Good for you! I am on biologics but not 100% that mine is doing all it can for me..
