Once you are on Medicare if you have a supplemental plan F, most rheumatologists will accept those as full payment.

Contact the manufacturer, sometimes they will send the med to you free. I have done that twice.

I don’t know what state you are in BUT... in PA ... you can get ANY supplemental plan you want... you can then get someone to write a note if you are not DUAL eligible for medicare and medicade... the note says that you work for them making $20 once per month and then you go on what’s called MAWD! You pay $10 it picks up the Cost of Medicare your supplement and MEDICADE! So your healthcare is 100% covered! I HAVE Cigna healthspring. The ONLY thing that may not be covered are SOME specialist visits that do not take the MEDICADE bc that is supposed to be changing to pick a plan. But a $40 co pay is better then a 20% copay with medicare

My daughter has an infusion every 8 weeks that they bill our insurance $8600.00 for. I pray she finds a job with good benes because she will have to come off mine soon due to her age. I have been very lucky so far but may also lose my insurance this year so am terrified
