Do Any Of You Suffer With Anemia? What Do You Do To Fight The Fatigue?
I am anemic on and off - have been my whole life. I take iron now with vitamin C. That absorbs better. I could never give blood because I was usually anemic when I tried in the past before I was diagnosed.
I take an iron pill every other day & try to eat good healthy food. I also fix my (green drink) with my nutribullet which consists of fresh spinach, kale, half a banana, thawed frozen fruit & a tablespoon of honey. It helps but....rest is the key to recover from working 8 hours a day 5 days a week....sigh
I have always have issues with it. My anemia was so bad at one point that they sent me to a hematologist/oncologist for a consult. That scared me to death. I take a iron pill a day and that has kept me better the past year. The fatigue is more a symptom of the RA for me. I think my brain/body is just exhausted from trying to fight the disease. Hope the best for you.
My DR says the only way to fight the fatigue is with clean eating, and exercise...I am trying it and I think it is working....just have to fight with everything we have
Check out on net RA/A staf/ throat/ such as tick/chest infections so on it goes etc
