I am dealing with a worse flair and I am temporarily out of work for a few weeks. Doctor has me off all RA meds x10 days to see if it would help me feel better. I'm at 7 days off- the nausea is gone but I still ache like all hell all over. I am just starting a medrol dose pak to see if this will give a kick start. I work as a nurse in an office on the computer and I swear right now I'd never make it through a day. I'm supposed to go back 3/10/16 but right now that seems like next week to me… read more

Having trouble with fatigue as well. At times i cant even get to the grocery store entrance without leg fatigue and shortness of breath, and then to try and do some grocery shopping😞. I was dx in Feb and still trying to get my husband to understand that i now struggle with cooking, cleaning, etc and then having to work fulltime im done when i get home😖 and not to mention all the muscle and joint aches.

Wendy I really sympathise with you.Im on my own with two kids and two dogs and the fatigue can be really hard going. When I mention it to my Dr he says it is part of the illness, his other response is Iron tablets.I go to bed early most night but fatigue and tiredness are totally different.

Oh Suck, that is awful. the prednisone should make you feel better soon. If the prednisone isn't working talk to that doctor may need a higher dose. Acupuncture, I highly recommend it, so do other long term sufferers of this disease. You will get through this, they will find a new solution for your problems. You can get short and long term disability through work. I hope it is available how about FMLA ,pick someones brain in human resources. If you have options about work it will help the stress. I go to a grocery where they put the groceries in the car. My husband carries them in the house. When he is away on business I have to buy less and then only carrie in the perishables, rest and then get the rest. Little by little.
