Hello, My Prescription Plan Has Changed So Now I Am On Private Insurance Any Suggestions For Cheaper Medicine That Works

We have private insurance but that still doesn't cover the cost of my Actemra medication for RA. What our insurance, and gov't insurance doesn't cover, the drug company does cover.
However, I am in Canada, so insurance is quite different here.

no generics for Enbrel or Ozempic or Methotrexate, the Goodrx and RXsaver is still expensive

Ya look for a co pay card can help reduce it it’s what I did for my medication Orencia. I have private insurance too.

Helli, thank you for your response, my State of Maryland Prescription plan has cut out my plan because of retiring and now I had to choose a private plan so I do not think I will qualify for a patient assistance program by me having private insure but I will look into it thanks

Good morning Peppermint β˜€οΈ I take enbrel. It’s very expensive. Fortunately I qualify for the patient assistance program. Ask your dr about getting the paperwork started for you. Hope today brings you some sunshine and laughter πŸ€—
