Sometimes my back feels like it is burning and my scalp is sensitive. Any thoughts?

Methotrexate can cause skin sensitivity, including increased sensitivity to sunlight, which may lead to burning sensations or irritation. Yes I have a skin rash because of methotrexate. Mine is not bad watch for blisters and skin peeling.

My back burns sometimes bc i have pinched nerves in my spine. You know, between the vertebraes that are deteorating. I take gabapentin 3 times a day. But ice pack and heating pad help alot!

I took oral methotrexate for about 3 months. I had scalp sensitivity, pain and extreme itching. It was the worst. Lots of hair thinning and I still have some bald patches 9 months after stopping. I think they are permanent. Sorry to hear that you are having this problem.
