It sounds like you're experiencing a flare-up of rheumatoid arthritis that is affecting multiple areas, including your jaw, shoulder, and back. Here are some key points to consider:

- Jaw Pain: Arthritis can cause jaw pain, making it difficult to open and close your mouth. This can feel like tooth pain and may make eating challenging.
- Prednisone: This medication can help reduce inflammation and pain during flare-ups, but it has potential side effects, so it's important to use it under medical supervision.
- Other Treatments: Over-the-counter NSAIDs, physical therapy, and relaxation techniques can also help manage symptoms.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider for a tailored treatment plan.
