I'll have pain iny hip like that due to bad discs in my back. It can be awful.
Mine are sore to the touch and if you can feel around and find one spot that is super sensitive it's probably bursitis, I have to get shots in both hips to help...
I have that pain in my left hip. I've had quite a few flares of inflamed bursa in the hip. Lots of therapy and exercises. I now have the start of osteoporosis just in that hip.
I don't have hip pain but I have outer thigh pain all the time.
