When considering weight loss drugs, especially with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), it's crucial to consult with your rheumatologist. According to the knowledge base:

- Consultation: Always talk to your doctor or health care provider about your weight loss goals and how to reach them safely through appropriate diet and exercise.
- Weight Loss Benefits: Losing weight can help control RA by reducing pain and inflammation, making certain medications more effective, and allowing for more physical activity.
- Medications and Weight: Some RA medications can cause weight gain, and managing this with a registered dietitian or an obesity medicine specialist can be beneficial.

It's essential to have a thorough assessment and possibly modify your treatment plan to mitigate any weight effects of RA medications.
