It is hereditary but that does not mean they will get RA and it certainly doesn't mean they will have what you have!

I had an aunt who had RA and my mother had chron's disease, and I found out that an great aunt on my dad's side had rheumatism, which is what they called it way back when. I have RA and I now have IBS.

Hello LeidaAcevedo I got IBS due to the medication for RA! Fibromyalgia due to breaking my neck/but my Dr don't like that word he says many Dr use fibromyalgia when they can't pin point the actual disease.
