Who Has Had Cataract Surgery Having RA? I Need Surgery And I'm Scared To Death. I've Put It Off Since January. H E L P....lol
My first surgery is on Tuesday. It's suppose to be easy as pie! I call it a procedure, surgery is too heavy. Mines gonna be done with a laser. Takes 15-30 min. I'll be home in 3 hrs.
I'd say don't be scared. My friend that's had it says it's totally worth it. Good Luck.
I had both replaced a year ago. The anticipation is so much worse than the actual operation. The easiest operation ever. Take a deep breath. You will be fine.
Thank you for easing my fears on this. I probably have regular not laser. I read there's really not much difference but it is expensive. The regular procedure is covered by Medicare but not laser.
I have severe RA and had cataract surgery in both eyes by laser 7 years ago during a stressful situation. No problems, I have just had a film removed which can happen over time on one eye, again by laser. Can’t wait for the other eye to be done , my sight is great, even with dry eye. Nothing to worry about. All the best.
I had mines done about 3 yrs ago. It went well and no problems. Yours will go well also. It's not bad at all.
