Good morning Carma,

Yes, when it's very hot my inflammation levels increase. Humidity is another one of those things that increases pain levels. How is your RA medication working for you?

High temperatures and humidity can indeed exacerbate arthritis symptoms for many people. According to the context:

- Heat and Humidity Effects: High temperatures and humidity can reduce the level or thickness of fluid around your joints, causing pain. Tendons, ligaments, and muscles can expand in humid weather, putting more pressure on the joints.
- Patient Experiences: Many inflammatory arthritis patients report feeling hot all the time and experiencing increased symptoms during heat waves, such as:
- Increased fatigue
- Cognitive dysfunction (brain fog)
- Pain, inflammation, and stiffness
- Skin irritation from sweating
- Trouble sleeping
- Decreased appetite
- Increased irritability

So, it's not uncommon for others to experience increased inflammation and other symptoms during extreme heat.
