If you don’t mind giving yourself a shot weekly it’s really very easy

Another item that has worked for me is eating something before taking the injection. Of course every person does the injection differently so you will need to find the best plan of action that works best for your body then follow that plan. It took me awhile to find something when learning this medication but once I got it planned out the rest was easy to follow. I actually use Google Calendar to help, LOL!

Normally, I do the shots in the left, right, or center parts of my stomach. Occasionally, I will do my leg as well, but most of the time, I will do my stomach so I can get the needle into that bit of fat.

yes it is a medication that can be injected and I have never had any issues with it. I needed to go through using the vials and the syringes before I could begin using Rasuvo (name of Methotrexate auto injector) The difference between the two?

When using the vials and the syringes, the dosage was lower than what was on Rasuvo. Guessing it has something to do with size of needle but I know nothing about pharmacy stuff. At any rate, what I can tell you about the vials and syringes it took me awhile getting accustom to using them. The reason I say it in that way is because I was not ready to place medication into a syringe. BUT, I have a husband that is Type II diabetic so he walked me through on how to safely get the needle into the vial then how to work the medication safely so there are no air bubbles.

I actually became accustom to doing it after a few times of using the needles in that fashion. The larger issue I had is there were times I couldn't always do the needle because my right hand didn't want to cooperate due to my fingers not wanting to bend. I do believe when receiving the medication there was documentation that also came with it showing everything in steps for how to safely work the vial along with the medication. Hope the above is of help.
