My insurance is no longer covering Humira and I normally take Humira with methotrexate and Tylenol or ibuprofen as needed for pain.

Thank you so much for the answer. I saw all of these positive posts about embrel and wondered if I should’ve researched a different biologic but I’m hoping starting my Hyromiz will be positive thank you

I recently switched from Humira to Hyrimoz due to insurance, too. I haven't noticed a difference except I no longer get injection site reactions like I did with Humira.

Yes, some individuals with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis have switched from Humira (adalimumab) to Hyrimoz (adalimumab-adaz), which is a biosimilar to Humira. Hyrimoz is used as targeted therapy for rheumatoid arthritis and works by blocking the activity of tumor necrosis factor (TNF), a substance that can cause inflammation and contribute to the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. It's taken every other week via subcutaneous injection. People might consider switching to a biosimilar like Hyrimoz for various reasons, including cost considerations or insurance coverage changes. It's important to discuss any potential switch with a healthcare provider, considering factors like efficacy, safety, and how the body might respond to a different formulation.
