Yes, besides Prednisone, individuals with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) have been prescribed various other medications for pain control. These include:

- Over-the-counter pain medications like Tylenol (acetaminophen), aspirin, Advil (ibuprofen), and Aleve (naproxen).
- Prescription NSAIDs (Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) for more moderate symptoms, which help reduce swelling and pain.
- Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs (DMARDs) such as methotrexate, Azulfidine (sulfasalazine), and Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) are used to slow disease progression and manage symptoms.
- Biologic DMARDs like Remicade (infliximab) are administered via infusion or intravenously to manage RA pain and inflammation.

These medications are part of a comprehensive treatment plan to manage RA symptoms and improve quality of life.
