About 25 percent of people with RA have one or more additional autoimmune diseases. Conditions like lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus) and psoriatic arthritis are among the most common autoimmune diseases seen in people with RA. While Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is not specifically mentioned in the context provided, EDS is a group of disorders that affect connective tissues and can have overlapping symptoms with autoimmune diseases, such as joint pain.
