I never wake up feeling refreshed and rested. I first recognize soreness, aching and stiffness. I notice the cold and eventhough I'm under covers, skin on my arms feel cold to touch. After wallering and stretching for a few minutes, I rise, walk thru the house on painful feet to let the dogs out. I grab a cup of coffee, husband always makes it, and take my meds, snort allergy spray. Then, eat a protein bar or banana. Let dogs back in if weather is bad. I hope your days get better. I’m a very structured A type personna. I do best when getting up same time everyday or within an hour diff. I dress nicely for the gym. If I look good , I feel good and have a better workout. It’s about 2 hrs. It’s interesting how I don’t feel the pain when doing the workout. Because my mind is not focused on it. Then home for breakfast. 3 egg. Spinach, feta omelet. Also 1 grapefruit, blueberries. Kiwi, pineapple, blackberries.

I get up and make my bed. Walk around opening blinds, I can’t stand them being shut. Then I take a hot shower and that is what makes me feel like moving!

My hubby arises, goes in the other room , gets dressed and does @10 minutes of stretching. He takes about 1-1 1/2 hours to feel like talking and "facing the day". I just let him be and try to NOT talk to him too much.

I know exactly how you feel. I never wake up feeling rested. I’m always achy and sore. It takes me about 30 min of moving around before the stiffness eases. I also have stretches that I do each morning. Then I get ready to go out walking delivering our local newspaper.
