Does Anyone Here Have Nodes In Their Lungs? I Seem To Have Many In Both Lungs. What Does Your Doctor Say? Do They Make Your Back Hurt?

Long term use of methotrexate can lead to interstitial lung disease. If you are seeing a pulmonologist, make sure they are aware of the use of methotrexate so they can weigh that information against all the other possibilities. Make sure the rheumatologist and pulmonologist are working together. It can cause lung issues but that is not the only thing that could be at play here. It's your job to make sure BOTH doctors are considering all possibilities and addressing it with you. I know they are often in a hurry but you have questions....make sure they answer them. Sadly, each of the dr's may think the other is addressing this leaving you with no one dealing with it while you are thinking they are both dealing with it. Ask! I do have a couple of nodules in my lungs and they check them every year. Nodules can also simply be scar tissue from earlier damage but they need to be watched until they know for sure what they are.

I've not been diagnosed with RA, it is supposedly Osteoarthritis. I've had my blood checked so many times & that's what the Rheumatologist goes by. I do have lymph nodes in my lungs, tho I have Fibromyalgia & I know that this causes lumph nodes in your lungs. My lower back does hurt but I think it's from the Sciatica Issues I'm going through. PT did not help my Sciatica whatsoever, so I'm going to try an Accupuncturist. I've had this pain for quite a long time. I keep diagnosing myself. The Doctors here in Arizona are horrible. I spend a long time on Google asking it questions. That's where I would do. Good Luck!

Thank you Peppermint, this is encouraging. I have chosen a Doctor that does it all, but I have to wait a month to get the OK from my health insurance because he doesn't take Insurance. I've waited this long & guess I can wait another month. You've given me HOPE! Thank You! 🤗🤗

The nodes in my lungs are RA nodes similar to the ones that grow on hands, feet and other joints. I hope you can find some relief.
