I'm Newly Diagnosed With RA, What Can Help With With This Fatigue?
I haven't found anything that helps with the RA fatigue. Whenever it effects me, the only thing I can do is to rest. RA fatigue is one of the worst things to deal with. It strikes seemingly from nowhere and there's no "pushing through." Other than just the "nature of the beast", I haven't been able to ascertain any other reason for the fatigue.
There are going to be days when nothing helps and it's a struggle, but I've found that a good quality B Complex vitamin (without C) makes a big difference for me on an average day. Message me if you want to know what I take.
I have had RA for two years and I still struggle with extreme fatigue. Two days before Thanksgiving. I was in bed and slept both days. With this disease, I agree there is no pushing through, and I’ve learned to listen to my body and rest. I also take the B complex and a veggie protein shake daily. I eat a Mediterranean diet. I try to stay away from dairy and gluten. I have learned with this disease that it’s better to rest when my body tells me to rest and have compassion with myself and do what is best for my body. I hope you find a way to work through the fatigue of this disease.
I take vitamin B complex as well as Vega all-in-one shake which seems to help some. Big thing is pace yourself. If you over-do it today, you pay for it tomorrow
My platelet & rbc went low & I had to start on prenatal vitamins daily (im in my 50s) as I get miserably constipated with iron supplements. The exhaustion became less I had more energy.
