RA Causing Lung Disease

Hi all,

Anyone understand what Interstitial Lung Disease is? If not, please do your research. Not only can RA cause it, so can traditional treatment. I’ve had RA 30 years and now diagnosed with ILD 2 years ago. While there is no cure, there are means to slow it down.

RA can also affect eyes, heart, and kidneys. And usually associated with other autoimmune diseases, ie Sjogrens which I have.

If you have ILD, please let me know what you’re doing to slow it down. I start Ofev tomorrow

Hi Elizbeth,
I also have lupus,Ra, and the bad one for me is sjogrens. Sjogrens has been very bad. The first three years I had very few flares,then all hell broke loose. It has took my life away. I got the book on sjogrens .to help understand. It comes on slow then takes you out. Have a good night and God bless always Shirley Raye
